Hand Painted ROSE POINT LACE FAN Worn as Queen of Daughters of CONFEDERACY BALL
Original as found framed and mounted Hand Carved Hand Painted Rose Point Lace Fan worn by a young Lady selected as Queen of Daughters of the Confederacy Ball 1892 in St Louis, Missouri. Not sure of the fan material but I do not believe it to be ivory. Beautiful display piece with much character and charm and an obvious historical connection.
